Fixed Fee for Sub-Contractors

Are you a sub-contractor? Be honest, the last thing on your mind is getting the tax return in on time, if you miss the deadline you will receive an instant fine.

Also most sub-contractors are due a refund of income for which is better in your bank than the Inland Revenue.

At Davis Business Services we recognise that the importance of submitting tax returns in on time which is why we offer a special low fixed rate for sub-contractors.

Bookkeeping and VAT

Whether you are VAT registered or not it is beneficial to keep your paperwork up to date on an ongoing basis. Not only does it allow you to know your current financial position at the touch of a button, it reduces your accountancy fee at the year end as all your paperwork is in order.

If you are VAT registered we can prepare your VAT quickly and accurately at the same time as doing the book keeping. Also, any VAT inspections etc. would be carried out at our premises, causing the minimum disruption to your working life. The cost of this is dependent upon the work involved, we would be happy to quote for this after further discussion.

Payroll

If you decide to employ someone keeping payroll records and complying with Inland Revenue requirements can be a nightmare. We are skilled in this area and can provide a full payroll service.

We are also fully conversant with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and are able to deal with the record keeping and administration of the vouchers etc. Price available on application.

Postal Service

Our address can be used as a postal address for your business. This gives your business the professional edge. If we are providing the bookkeeping service we would open the correspondence, photocopy for our bookkeeping records, and pass the mail onto you.

We would inform you of any urgent matters immediately. The cost of this would be £10.00 per week if you collect the mail. If you would like us to post it onto you the postal costs would be passed on to you.

Fax Service

Many small business do not have the use of a fax, we can provide that service. Faxes received are charged at 10 pence per sheet. Sent faxes are charged at 10 pence per sheet for local calls and 15 pence per sheet for national calls.

Secretarial service

We can provide any secretarial services required. Letters, contracts etc. Price available on application. Example: £10 for a single page letter.

Holiday cover

Many small business worry about going on holiday as there is no one to answer the telephone. You could divert your telephone to our number and we can log your calls. This can give you peace of mind. Price available on application.

Photocopy service
